Gold on Silver Buffalo Nickel (Obv) Necklace

This stunning necklace was made using a real US Buffalo Nickel. First, the coin was layered in pure, .9999 fine bright silver. Then, the figure on this beautiful coin was brought to life by highlighting it (by hand) with rich, pure 24-carat gold. This painstaking work turned the coin into a true work of art which was then hermetically sealed in a clear, hard acrylic coating to protect it against wear. The finished coin was then mounted in either a gold filled rope edge bezel or a gold filled plain edge bezel (your choice) and placed on a good quality 18-inch, 14-carat gold layered rope chain. Shipped in a nice jewelry box.
